Admissions Guidelines for April 2025

Candidates must be motivated to learn at Learning Tree and their parents must agree with all Learning Tree policies.

Qualification to apply for the program

Grade 6: 11 years old by April 1st, 2025

Grade 5: 10 years old by April 1st, 2025

Grade 4: 9 years old by April 1st, 2025

Grade 3: 8 years old by April 1st, 2025

Grade 2: 7 years old by April 1st, 2025

Grade 1: 6 years old by April 1st, 2025

Admissions Procedure

1. Transfer the application fee of 15,000yen(tax included) and prepare the receipt of the transfer.
   (Account number:GMO Aozora Net Bank 516 (Soyokaze) #5300827 Learning Tree International School)
   ※The application fee is non-refundable.To schedule an entrance exam privately, the cost will be 80,000 yen (tax included).
2. Apply on line with ①a copy of the transaction ②applicant’s picture attached. ※the picture will be also used for the student ID when the child is officially enrolled. (https://tokyo.learningtree-is.jp/LTonline/?page_id=51876)
3. Students will take the entrance exam and have an interview. Parents must also participate in an interview.
4. Result will be sent home by mail.

Please send an online application seven days before the exam date. 

Entrance Exam Dates

(1) 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. November 23rd, 2024

(2) 10:00 a.m. – 12:30p.m. January 25th, 2025

(3) 4:30 p.m. – 6:30p.m. February 21st, 2025

Enrollment Procedure

1. Transfer the mandatory entrance fee and spring term fee by the correct date.

(1) December 8th, 2024
(2) February 10th, 2025
(3) February 28th, 2025

2. Issue the student I.D. (Free for the first time, to reissue 5,000 yen+tax will be charged)
